The Hollywood roles Rachel McAdams regretted turning down - would her career be different?

Between 2006 and 2008, Hollywood actress Rachel McAdams turned down several roles. It is unusual for Hollywood stars to discuss roles they decline. McAdams, on the other hand, admits that she turned down every great role she was offered at the time. Iron Man, Casino Royale, The Devil Wears Prada, Get Smart, and Mission: Impossible III are among them. McAdams has mixed feelings about her decision in retrospect. She felt guilty for not seizing the opportunity that had been presented to her. On the other hand, she realized that it did not fit her personality and that she would be jeopardizing her sanity.

Examining the roles, it appears she made the correct choice for each of them. Get Smart was a bad film that no one remembers. She would have played the same role as Michelle Monaghan in Mission: Impossible III. However, Monaghan's character was uninteresting, and she now only appears briefly in the sequels. Eva Green and Anne Hathaway were both excellent choices for their roles in Casino Royale and The Devil Wears Prada.

Finally, due to the 14-year age difference between McAdams and Robert Downey Jr., she declined the role of Pepper Potts in Iron Man. It would have been worse if she had taken a different role, such as Leslie Bibb's, because Bibb's role was forgettable. As a result, it was best for McAdams to decline Iron Man. Despite this setback, she returned and eventually starred in the Doctor Strange films.
