Cincinnati Bengals' Joe Mixon Under Investigation Following Altercation at Bar

Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon is currently under investigation by the Anderson Township Police Department following an alleged incident at a Cincinnati bar. According to sources, Mixon and his entourage were involved in a verbal altercation with another group of patrons, which eventually turned physical.

The incident reportedly occurred in the early hours of the morning, and police were called to the scene. While no arrests were made, the investigation is ongoing.

Mixon's agent released a statement denying that the running back was involved in any physical altercation and stating that he is cooperating with the investigation. The Bengals have not yet commented on the situation.

Mixon, who was drafted by the Bengals in 2017, has been a key player for the team in recent years. He signed a four-year contract extension with the team in 2020 and is expected to be a major contributor in the upcoming season.

This is not the first time that Mixon has been involved in a high-profile incident. In 2014, while he was still in college, Mixon was involved in an altercation with a female student that resulted in him punching her in the face. The incident received widespread media attention and led to Mixon being suspended from the football team for a year.
