The Lakers' Season of Resilience: From 0.3% Chance of Playoffs to Clinching 7th Seed!

The Los Angeles Lakers have had a difficult season due to injuries, transactions made in the middle of the season, and a shaky start. Yet, the team was able to maintain postseason contention because of numerous crucial events and players, notably a pivotal corner 3-pointer made by Matt Ryan in November. The Lakers finally received the No. 7 seed in the Western Conference playoffs thanks to that shot, which enabled them to tie a game against the New Orleans Pelicans and maintain postseason contention.

Similar circumstances occurred when the Lakers trailed the Minnesota Timberwolves by 15 points midway through the third quarter of their play-in game on Tuesday. Dennis Schroder's clutch corner 3-pointer near the end of regulation helped the club rally and win the game in overtime. The Lakers managed to win despite a late foul by Anthony Davis that gave the Timberwolves a chance to tie the game.

The Lakers are proud of their tenacity and capacity to overcome adversity despite the ups and downs of the season. The club had a 0.3% chance of making the playoffs when they were 2-10, but LeBron James, who had a game-high 30 points on Tuesday, said they turned things around and now have a chance to win the Larry O'Brien Trophy. The Lakers are sure that they can compete and succeed even though they will face a difficult battle in the playoffs.
